How Should Christians Respond To Trump’s “Muslim Ban”?

Muslim Ban Trump Christians

President Donald Trump has recently signed an order banning all travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries for 90 days. This order, referred to as the “Muslim Ban”, has caused quite the firestorm in the media world wide, and many are infuriated. This travel ban is in the interest of national safety given the state of ISIS and America’s weak border security. It’s no surprise that Muslims are extremely unhappy about this travel ban, but so are many non-Muslims and even Christians. If you are a Christian, how should you respond to this new order?

First we must understand a few things that most people seem to overlook, as they allow others to do their thinking for them. Islam is NOT a race; it is a religion. Though many Muslims happen to be from Arab speaking countries such as Lebanon or Syria, Islam is a religious ideology. I begin here, because many people have labeled any perceived unfairness toward Muslims as “racist”. Those that continue to fuel this narrative are ignorant at best. There are American Muslims, and Chinese Muslims and Irish Muslims, just as there are Chinese Christians, and American Christians. Unlike race, people do have control of the religion they subscribe to. Donald Trump had absolutely no control over his race. He was born the way he was. But, Malcom Little (Malcom X), had absolute control of his conversion to Islam. Anger or disdain directed at someone because of something entirely out of their control is unfair, but anger directed at someone for deliberately making a bad decision is quite another thing. What am I implying?

The Nature of Islam

Christians, especially, ought to know that Muslims are not their friends. They ought to know this, but most are ignorant, and pleased with their ignorance. Islam is inherently an Antichrist religion. Why do I say this? For starters, they not only deny that Jesus is the Son of God, but even deny that he was crucified by the Romans (a fact even atheist historians concede). According to 1 John 2:22 “Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.” (NKJV) According to this verse, not only are Muslims liars, but they operate according to the spirit of antichrist. In our PC culture, speaking truth will get you into trouble, but then again, it got Jesus crucified. Muhammad stole from the Biblical writings 600 years after the New Testament was completed, and changed them to fit his twisted agenda. Part of this agenda, as is evidenced by the Islamic world around us, is murdering Christians. Christians are infidels and worthy of warring with according to the Quran. Qur’an 9:29—Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.-

Islam is not a religion of peace, as so many claim, but is a religion of war. Though many people of many religious faiths have committed horrendous acts in the name of their religion, those done in the name of Muhammad, or Allah, or Islam are done in simple obedience to what is prescribed. Many people who have committed atrocious acts have done so in the name of Christianity, except that those who did were working in direct opposition to the things that Jesus taught, and were therefore false representatives. Those committing atrocities in the name of Allah or the the Quran, are simply doing what is commanded. For example: Quran (2:216)Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. — Quran (8:67) – “It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he had made a great slaughter in the land…” — Quran (9:14) – “Fight against them so that Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people.” — Quran (9:73) – “O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them..” — Quran (47:3-4) – “Those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord… So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah’s Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives).– Quran (2:191-193) – “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out.” (You won’t hear Hollywood or CNN quote these verses to you, because they are revisionist liars who tout the term “Muslim Ban”).

Christians also need to realize that Muslims pray to and worship a demon. Strong language, I know, but is it justified? In 1 Corinthians 10:20 Paul says that other gods are demons. When people in a false religion sacrifice or pray to some other god, it is really a demon that they are involved with. Make no mistake, the “Allah” of the Quran is a demon. It’s no wonder this is the case, for Muhammad himself was a lying pedophile. You see, Muhammad, the pedophile con artist, married a girl named Aisha when she was just 6 years old, and consummated their marriage (had sex with her) when she was only 9 years old. Only someone engaged in demon worship could be so disgusting as to have sex with a 9 year old girl. Islam has it’s foundations in lying, murder, genital mutilation and pedophilia. Let me be very clear; Muhammad was a scumbag.

The group of people persecuted most by Muslims (next to women) are Christians. Christians in Muslim-majority countries are persecuted at a rate only rivaled by the U.S. abortion rate. You can thank Obama for contributing to both of those. Christians are the object of loathing for all things Muslim as Christianity is everything Islam is not: Wholesome, graceful, and true. Since Christians ought to be concerned with truth, and protecting their precious loved ones, this “Muslim Ban” ought to come as  great relief. Let me reiterate; Islam is NOT A RACE, it’s a religion. When you deal with people who embrace historic revisionism, you are dealing with instability and deceit. Islam is a cancerous plague; all falsehoods are, but Islam in its true form, takes it another step further and seeks to devour anyone who will not conform to it.

The Christian Response

As Christians, we do not seek to harm those who are Muslims (as they do us), but we do seek to rid ourselves of their evil. I’m not suggesting that Christians can’t or shouldn’t witness to Muslims, but what I am saying is that proper perspective must be taken when understanding what this “Muslim Ban” means. There is no such thing as “radical Islam” or “Muslim extremists”. Those who bomb and kill in the name of Allah, are simply obeying the commands of the Quran. Those who murder in the name of Jesus are acting in stark opposition to everything Jesus commanded. Instead of letting CNN (Communist News Network) think for you, or jumping on whatever happens to be “trending” at the moment, perhaps you should think for yourself and investigate the facts of a matter. To be clear, there are Muslims who don’t kill other people, but it’s not because the Quran doesn’t tell them to. Ironically, peaceful Muslims are the true radicals, as the Quran is a constant war cry.

Should there be a Muslim Ban? In the interest of national security, our President has made a prudent decision. The more important question is: do I know anything about Islam or am I just regurgitating what has been fed to me by the mainstream media? Christians are to expose the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11), and Islam is one of the least fruitful and darkest “works” around. My goals are not political in nature but are, rather, to bring a biblical perspective to life’s issues. Candor and resolve is crucial in this day and age. True Christianity is under constant attack, and there is even pressure for Christians to unite with Muslims for “common causes” or for the sake of unity. What fellowship has light with darkness? The wisest thing a Christian can do is pray that the deluding influences of Islam are reduced for some that they might hear the gospel. There is nothing, even implicitly, malicious about this “Muslim Ban”. Given that people have easy access to the U.S. from terrorist harboring countries Christians should be concerned and relieved. No injustice has been done. When a particular flaw is discovered in some product, often, the action taken is one of a recall. It is safer to recall an entire line than to hope others don’t receive a defective product as well. Recalls are done in the interest in safety, and, likewise, this so-called “Muslim Ban” was done in the interest of safety, and also in the interest of fulfilling a promise. Christians ought to be more informed about Islam’s true nature and relieved that our country is exercising discretion before letting any and everyone in, especially those who hold barbarous ideologies with a special distaste for Christianity.

I am interested in knowing if you are open to respectful discourse with those who disagree with many of the statements you have made in this, or any other, of your writings? I left the ministry after I was commissioned but before I took my first seminary class (this was a very short period of time) because it was immediately obvious that I was expected to become exactly what you are describing. But that didn’t change my desire to share my faith consistent with the Biblical model. But that also brought me to a belief that I needed to study my own sacred texts and faith tradition, along with the other Abrahamic religions, through the lens of a historian and sociologist, rather than my own lens, because that lens was developed during my upbringing in an established denomination. I could not be sure I was not influenced by it. So, with all that in mind, I have a very different understanding of historical events than those who view things through the filter of a religious scholar. I don’t want to get in the way of the many positive things you are doing here, but I am willing to go off the record if you are willing to be open to the idea you may be wrong sometimes and, further, open to correction, particularly by a woman. If you are you know how to get in touch with me by email.

    – I hear so many Christians say that
they will refuse no ‘Nationals’ of other countries….

Because God instructed Israel to treat foreigners who sojourn among them, as themselves.

    – But what they fail to recognize is that
the sojourners among them were not to erect other shrines to others gods among them either.
As a matter of fact they were to be like Israel in honoring The Only True God.

Even when they were to eat with Israel they were to be Circumcised.

    – Always remember, God never told His people to
support, fight and die for the right of all gods to be worshiped among us as He is.

That’s right, our Government gave us “Freedom Of Religion”. Not our God.

So how does a person find support…If there are only denominations around…How do you find Christian that believe like you describe…

  4. I understand what you are talking about…Would like more information…
